From central Auckland, the usual road corridor follows SH1 south through the Bombay and Pōkeno areas, continuing along the Waikato Expressway past Huntly and Hamilton. Connections using SH1B and SH27 lead towards Matamata, with the final approach determined by your drop-off address.
The city pickup and the last part of the journey deserve just as much attention as the main highway. An exact hotel entrance or street address makes the collection clearer.
